Webmaster Central Adds CSS Feature

TAMPA BAY, Fla. — Webmaster Central announced today the launch of new Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) features that gives customers added control over leased content.

The company said the new CSS option means clients can use a simple CSS file, hosted on their own server, to control and customize the look and nature of their website’s pages that serve Webmaster Central content.

“It’s a simple solution with remarkable results,” explained Joel Kapchuk, vice president of operations for Webmaster Central. “By simply changing the settings of a CSS file on their own server, our customers can customize their leased content pages to create the look and feel they want."

He added, "Through a standard CSS file, they can control the colors used and the placement of content on the page.  They can add their websites logos, and they can even control which niches are included when content is pulled from Webmaster Central’s library to feed their sites.

“We believe site owners should be able to choose how leased content appears inside their members areas, and this is a perfect tool to help achieve that.”

The company noted that customers who lease their content through Webmaster Central also have their pages automatically optimized and formatted for proper display and playback on smartphones and tablets.

“This solution is so advanced, so packed with benefits, that it just doesn’t make sense to buy your content directly anymore,” Kapchuk said.  “Previously a webmaster had to shop for content, buy content, format that content, load it into a CMS, create their templates, convert the content to a variety of formats, then create special optimized pages for mobile users."

He added, "With our leased content, almost all of this work is done for you. Your sites are updated automatically, and they’re always presented in an optimized format based on the needs of the customer who is viewing your site. This means your company can operate with a leaner staff, and is free to spend its time on driving traffic and making more money.”
